New Music Video: "Kanagawa" - Florry

"Kanagawa" is the lead single featured on Florry's forthcoming album Brown Bunny, scheduled for release on November 23 via Sister Polygon Records. Its new music video (by Jamie Alam) captures a candid/vivid home video aesthetic. There’s a mellow melancholy of overcoming loneliness within the steady progression, interjected with intense, instrumental expansions. That mix of somewhat subdued closeness with brash heaviness is an enticing combination. You can catch the band’s record release show on Sunday, November 18 at Tundra Dome, with Corey Flood, Emily Yacina, and Will Table.

New Track: "Myth of the Groove" - Kilamanzego

Kilamanzego recently shared a new single via Amsterdam based collective/label ZenSupremacy. “Myth of the Groove” crackles and quakes, as the warmth of synth invites, but simultaneously creates a mysterious atmosphere. Then, it finds its footing in vibrant, 8-bit matriculation. Step into that futuristic, funky, weightless beat, propelled naturally but not pushed. Kilamanzego will be joining a lineup that also includes Masie Blu and Gender Work, on Friday, November 23 at World Cafe Live.

New Treasure Box EP Available for Streaming & Download

Riding an experimental thread through contrasting calm and chaotic times, Treasure Junkie, the new release from Timothy MacIsaac (nubble light), a.k.a. Treasure Box, is a small gift from the future. That glitchy, free-floating groove sets a pleasant mood, as unexplored corridors are revealed. It has a contained, on-the-brink-of-collapse, burn-out atmosphere. Find that clairvoyant tunnel in the midst of disorder.
