New Borzoi Boy EP Available for Streaming & Download

Philly singer-songwriter Alexandra Gordon is now recording under the moniker Borzoi Boy ("like the Russian greyhound"). Enter The Light captures a certain hushed, candlelit, emotive intimacy. Letting the listener in on the thoughts that are encased in one's mind, Gordon figures out her next move, while reminiscing on love and feelings of loneliness. The duality of brightness and bleakness grips as the sun trickles in through the curtains.

New Melon Painting Album Available for Streaming & Download

With aid from Sanders Smith, Jon Cardiello, and Lukas Phelan, on his last day in Missoula, Montana, Cooper Hepburn recorded the songs that encompass Mountain (HOYA Recordings/Diet Pop Records), the new release under the moniker Melon Painting. Exposed, personal narratives endear in isolating, through-the-screen-door folk. Merging a jangly, laid-back simplicity with points of atmospheric ambiance, the record creates an immediate connection. Melon Painting is schedule to perform on Sunday, October 29 at DIY space Planet Phitness, with Marge and Neutral Shirt.
