New The Barren Marys LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

Wired Wrong is the new LP from punk quartet The Barren Marys, and is available via Violated Records/Suicide Bong Records. Sprinting out of the gates, the album meshes an innate, adrenaline-fueled intensity with a light-hearted (at times) lyrical approach. Mirroring daily life, it addresses serious issues, while still finding time to have some fun. The Barren Marys are slated to perform next in Philly on Saturday, July 27 at Connie's Ric Rac, with The Lot, Conmen, and Mala Vista.

New Music Video: "Not Your Token" - Ramona

Deals, Deals, Deals!, the forthcoming album from Ramona, is scheduled to arrive on June 7 via Red Scare Industries. Directed by Ted Quann, the trio recently shared a new video for its lead single, “Not Your Token”. Agitation over a spilled beverage quickly transforms into a playful, competitive, pinball face off. And those matching/team jogging suits are stellar! Ramona will be performing next in Philly on Friday, June 21 at Kung Fu Necktie, opening for Teenage Bottlerocket, who they are currently accompanying on tour.

July’s Burger Boogaloo bustin’ a move

This July marks Burger Boogaloo’s 10th year anniversary show and the Boogaloo folks are really busting out a sweet, sweet lineup. As tradition insisted,  the festival is hosted by purity king John Waters and will feature some solid favorites from the homefront and beyond. A small snippet from the two-day bill includes Jesus and Mary Chain, Shannon the Clams, The Scientists, No Bunny, King Tuff and those Australian sweets, The Chats. Speaking of which, we’ll leave you with this mullet and smoko-filled video as a taste and hope to see you at Mosswood Park this July. Smoko, baby. -Michelle Kicherer, Associate Editor
