HELLO HARVARD - GROOVIN' AT THE SHOE ON FRIDAY!

Hello Harvard is a group of nice pop rockers from Burlington. They're hard at work on their debut EP "Silly Things" which we're expecting to be released in the next few months. If you want to get a taste of what these guys are all about then have a listen to their song "Trappers". In this tune they challenge you by saying "I dare you to dance with me" but by the time you hear that...you'll already be dancing! This tune has some serious foot tapping potential. It has the feels of today's indie rock but with some oldies flare mixed in. It'll make you wanna groove though. So if you're feelin' dancy this weekend you can catch Hello Harvard on Friday Night at the Horseshoe Tavern! - Kris Gies

"Haunts" EP from Copperfox does just that

Copperfox has its roots out West. Founding members Rory Mohon and Lisa Garcia packed up their instruments and moved to Nashville from Portland, OR, which is about as far west as you can go without getting saltwater in your hightops. And while they've certainly picked up some Nashville cues since getting their current lineup functioning in early 2015, they've held on tight to some out-west surf vibes straight into their recent Haunts EP. Composed of two songs and a remix of each, Haunts pulls together an impressively diverse set of influences from electronica and synthpop to the aforementioned jangly, shimmery rock leanings.

Check out Haunts below and follow the appropriate channels for updates from the band, including information about an upcoming tour. -Austin Phy

New The Original Crooks and Nannies LP Available for Streaming & Download

Madeline Rafter & Sam Huntington, a.k.a. The Original Crooks and Nannies, just released a wonderfully intoxicating album in Ugly Laugh. The ten-song sophomore LP showcases the dynamic duo's natural ability to lay down ear-burrowing melodies over lo-fi, bedroom beats. Rafter's voice demonstrates a captivatingly beautiful versatility, with Huntington providing the right amount of playful accompaniment - thus, creating tunes worthy of your adoration. (BTW: Also, check out the twosome making the best/worst DIY wigs (out of their own hair) ever in the new music video for "Carry Me"!)
