Some Gifts unveils "All Washed Up" from upcoming debut full-length Win Instantly

A feeling of abject despair comes from somewhere deep in "All Washed Up", the latest single from trio Some Gifts. Lead singer Vic Lzar's guttural cry is a clear indication that things might not be going so well, all while sporting a thick, seething riff that erupts with increasing force. But there's also a melodic edge to their no-frills delivery, a pop song in disguise that hits with just the right amount of grit.

"All Washed Up" will be featured on their debut album Win Instantly, which is scheduled for an official digital release on March 12th. And if this highly-caffeinated power punch is your cup of tea, then don't miss their record release show at Casey's Irish Pub - it promises to be a good one.

Some Gifts play Old Towne Pub on 1.24

Recent artist of the month nominees Some Gifts are a trio that writes open-hearted rock anthems bolstered with punchy riffs and subtle melodic awareness, laid bare with the passionate vocal delivery of singer Vic Lazar. The songs on their recently released EP "All These Ghosts" are small gifts that pack a walloping punch, ripping rallying cries that certainly bring back the fierce pop hooks of eighies college rock. They're currently working the local pub circuit promoting the EP, making their next stop an especially special one with a record release party at Old Towne Pub in Pasadena on Saturday, January 24. Those who like their energetic brand of charging, no-frills indie rock shouldn't miss this one. - Juan Rodríguez
