New Rosetta EP Available for Streaming & Download

Sower of Wind is the new EP from Rosetta, which was recently released via Pelagic Records. Ambient soundscapes toe a threshold between somber & soothing, while exploring mysterious terrain. The ominous beauty envelopes in a bone-chilling calm. You can find Rosetta as part of the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest 2019 on Sunday, April 14 at The Fillmore Philadelphia.

New Rosetta LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

The quintet of Rosetta recently released its 6th full-length album. Utopioid hovers in a menacing yet meditative atmosphere, unleashing a decided heaviness that smacks of immediacy, while creating pockets of contemplative space. The band is gearing up to head out on an extensive fall tour next month with Tucson's North.

New Mike Armine LP Available for Streaming & Purchase

We'd like to ease you into your morning with the ambient, static drone of Mike Armine, who is best known as the frontman for Rosetta. His new full-length release Verse and the Cleansing Undertones combines works from his previous debut Cleansing Undertones of Wake / Lift and his latest production Verse. Feel free to zone out at work or school for a little while longer.

Rosetta Record Release Show at Boot & Saddle Oct. 18

Rosetta has already had a triumphant 2014 that has featured them releasing The Anaesthete, going on a big tour of China, and crowd sourcing a full-length documentary on Indiegogo. However, the band still has more in store for its fans this evening, celebrating the release of its latest EP, Flies to Flame (Translation Loss Records) at Boot & Saddle. Since the album is a release of experimental studio pieces, it will be a very rare occasion when they'll be playing them on stage, and it won't be happening tonight. But they'll be doing something even bigger as it will be one of the first two shows that sees them unveiling all new material as a five-piece that features Eric Jernigan of City of Ships on second guitar. The performance, which is also the bands last of 2014, will also feature NYC's Tiger Flowers, and it will be a good opportunity to catch Ladder Devils before they release their latest album Clean Hands on November 4. Boot & Saddle, 1131 S Broad St., 8pm, $10, 21+ - Bill McThrill
