The Winter 2018 issue of The Deli NYC (our 53rd!) is now available for you to read online, here!

This is also the first NAMM issue of The Deli, since a week from today we'll be at the Californian musical instrument convention with a huge booth full of guitar pedals!

That's why we took the opportunity to put on the cover of our magazine the legendary Brooklyn noise rockers A Place To Bury Strangers - a band that makes their own stompboxes, called Death By Audio.

The issue features a lot of other local artists (and their pedals) and also an article about the best records of 2017 by emerging NYC Artists - check it out!

Bay Area music lovers will have the opportunity to see Brooklyn's A Place to Bury Strangers play the Milk Bar in San Francisco for two nights only on January 2nd and 3rd! If you've been to The Milk Bar in San Francisco's legendary neighborhood of Haight, you already know this venue is incredibly intimate. Following the release of their third album "Worship" early this summer, A Place To Bury Strangers recently revealed their new music video for 'I'm All UP' (below), off the slightly softer edged full-length which came as the latest in a gradual slip away from the band's original devastatingly abrasive shoegazing. On the backdrop of this sweet, shamelessly melodic, effects-encrusted pop downer, the video portrays an epic massacre of an army of toys, real-life recreation of a young boy's fantasy, orchestrated by Oliver Ackermann's brother Karl, who calls it a 'Toy Story IV: Battle Royale' - check it out below. APTBS' US tour, which kicked off October 27th in Richmond, VA, will find them heading back home to headline the Bowery Ballroom on November 18th, as one of their last dates with Philly-based shoegazers Bleeding Rainbow. We already praised Brooklyn Hunters' super-tense approach to noise-rock in more than one occasion (they were our NYC record of the month in February). Well it looks like NYC reigning noise champions A Place to Bury Strangers also have taken notice of this sonically uncompromising duo. The band (whose debut EP was partly mixed by YYY's guitarist Nick Zinner) just released the new single "Street Trash" (streaming below) and announced a July East Coast tour with A Place to Bury Strangers. It's going to be like a series sonic blasts across the coast, indeed!
