Last week funky pop boys More Fatter released the video for their single “Yeah You” and it is a fun and spunky time. Filmed at San Francisco’s Dolores Park, the video features the cuatro doing synchronized, shoeless dance moves, some poppin’ lady dancers and loads of onlookers and smilers. Props to the kiddo who slides down the slide right into the band. Like most of their tracks, “Yeah You” has got some great trombone highlights and it’s fun to see those things in action. Looking for something fun to do this 4th of July weekend? Do you love you some great mountains majesty, music of all shapes and genres, and food? Beverages? Trees? Camping? We recommend the High Sierra Music Festival for some good ol’ fashioned American purity. From Dispatch to Jim James, Del & Dawg to The New Mastersounds, the festival has something for most musical tastes. It’s like Burning Man but peaceful. Local favorites include Midnight North, Royal Jelly Live, Rainbow Girls, More Fatter and Eric Long. The festival runs from July 4th thru 7th in the lovely Quincy, Ca. On Saturday, July 22, rising San Francisco funk band More Fatter will be performing live at The Bottom Of The Hill. Made up of two brothers, five friends, a pair of former choir boys and some brass horns, More Fatter released their debut LP titled 'where are you?' at the beginning of the summer. The show starts at 8:30 PM, but make sure to arrive early, More Fatter is the local opener for the legendary Chicago funk powerhouse Sidewalk Chalk. So plan on staying late, too.
